Meet adoptable Doris! Doris was rescued in Guadalajara, Mexico, when she was young puppy. She was found wandering alone on the streets … malnourished, dehydrated, and covered fleas. Doris was taken into the care of the rescue and now lives at a rescue shelter in Ajijic, Mexico.Doris is now almost 1 year old and weighs approx 40 lbs. She is 25” tall to the shoulder. Her breed mix is a best guess but she has features of a Labrador Retriever and Border Collie.PERSONALITY: Doris is a friendly, upbeat, cheerful pup! She loves her humans to pieces, including kiddos. Doris has a sweet natured disposition and shows lots of affection towards people.ANIMAL FRIENDS: Doris gets along well with other dogs; she lives with dogs of all shapes & sizes at the shelter. She has not been tested with cats or little critters.ENERGY LEVEL: Doris is a moderately active girl who likes to run around, play, and explore! She would love a family that enjoys outdoor activities and engages her in playtime.TRAINING: Doris is doing very well with house training and leash training . She is now beginning to work on crate training and is making good progress. We’d love to see Doris with a family who will build on her training as she is a smart little girl who loves to learn.VETTING: Fully vaccinated. Spayed. Dewormed. SNAP 4Dx negative (Heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma). Flea/tick/heartworm prevention. No known medical issues or injuries.**PLEASE NOTE: Doris is currently in Mexico. There will be a $235 fee for transportation to BC. This will be discussed upon approval.**##1675190##
