Denver, we have no idea where you were prior to the shelter, but we can't imagine what you went through; you are scared of the world. Our sweet 4yrs old, 50 pound, handsome fella needs a really special home. He is nervous around everything and everyone. While he appears less tense around females, he isn't sure of anyone at the moment. Denver is going to need a home that understands he needs time, to decompress, and honestly the quicker he can be out of the shelter and in a home that is calm he will really blossom. Denver LOVES the company of other dogs. We recommend Denver going to a home with another doggy companion, he appeared to love the female we tested him with. He will need an adult savvy home that will work with him on gaining confidence but also know he can trust his people. We know its a tall order! But we are certain, his forever family is out there , somewhere!
