LOCATION: Omaha, NebraskaDOB: 01/09/2015 (Estimate)-Drew01/01/2018-MarilynDouble trouble? Noooo. Double the love!!! Meet Marilyn and Drew-a bonded pair of Danes who are each other’s best friend. But that’s not to say there isn’t room in their hearts for a human bestie! They have plenty of space in their beautiful Dane hearts to share with someone special. Let’s start with Marilyn. Her foster momma thinks Miss Marilyn must have been a princess in her former life. She has agorgeous prance as she trots around her, dazzling everyone with her beautiful Harlequin coat. And don’t let her age fool ya! She is still young at heart and can run around with the best of them! Marilyn is an energetic girl that loves to play with both dogs and people. Her play can seem a little rough and she makes funny noises like a pretend growl or a huff so children over 12 years old would be ideal. She is a Velcro Dane and will follow her people around. Marilyn would be a great adventure buddy for someone. She also is a cuddler. Besides people and Drew being her favorite things, not far down the list are treats-especially cheese or chicken flavored treats. She can get so excited for her treats that her whole body starts to wiggle and she ends up hitting herself with her own tail! She is very smart and is picking up on basic commands but her leash training is minimal to none. Having scheduled potty breaks and a routine is important for her potty habits. When Marilyn and Drew are sleeping, they intertwine themselves. It’s photo-worthy and adorable.Mr. Drew is the kind of dog that wants to love and be loved on. Give this boy some good neck scratches and he is in heaven. He is a chill, old man who is active for his age and still willing to give Marilyn a run for her money during playtime. His ideal place is on the couch but he tolerates his crate okay, too. He also loves to be outside soaking up the warm sunshine. And just like his gal, Marilyn, he will absolutely never pass up on a piece of cheese. Cats or other small animals are a no-go for this duo. But being around other dogs are just fine. Both Drew and Marilyn are not spring chickens anymore, but they absolutely have hearts of gold. Their special family is out there but we just haven’t been able to connect them together yet.
