08/01/23SVPP Dog Day Out Notes:I went on a hike through Alamaden Quicksilver County Park. I was amazing from start to finish—I hopped right in the car and was an awesome companion for the day. I loved exploring and sniffing around!Princess Leia is an absolutely awesome dog and was a joy to spend the day with. She was excited to get in the car like she knew enjoyed exploring and also liked having a person she trusted by her side. The trail we went on could be narrow at points and she did great when passing other hikers. There was a man jogging who came around a corner who scared her a little but she huddled close to me and was fine :) Not only is Princess Leia a wonderful hiking partner, but she is just a wonderful all around dog—she is sweet, gentle, and would be great with everything from going on hikes to snuggling at home with her people.
