Sophie is a sweet, shy girl who needs help building confidence and learning to be part of a family. Here’s what one volunteer said about this very good girl:“Sophie was timid in the kennel and had to be carried to the yard. No problem carrying her at all, there is not a bad bone in her and she allows handling without issue. In the yard she tried to melt into my legs, but never totally relaxed. She got a bit better and would actually look at me once in a while, lick a treat, and let me pet her. I had to carry her back to the kennel where she just tried to melt into a corner. When we opened the divider she did come to the front with her kennelmate. She seems to be a very sweet, nice girl who is just overwhelmed by the shelter and will probably come out of her shell with patience and TLC.”If you can help Sophie be the brave girl we know she can be, please ask about her! She shares her kennel politely and mostly kept to herself when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Sophie would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit.
