Lucas had lived in a home rife with domestic violence only to be put in another home where he was completely neglected for almost two months. When the police department called and asked us for help, we couldn't say no. He had already endured so much, there was no way we could let him face another uncertainty. Today this awesome dog is enjoying a new life, where he can just be his "chill" self, enjoy playing or snoozing in the sun, and all the attention he gets from volunteers. But what Lucas needs is a forever home where he can settle in and just enjoy being a loyal companion to his family. Lucas has done well with other dogs, but a meet and greet would be required.Adoption processWe do not have a shelter; our dogs are either in foster homes or boarding facilities. Meet & greets have to be scheduled in advance.Shelter locationWe do not have a physical facility open to the public. All of our pets are in foster homes or are in a boarding facility
