Luke is the sweetest little guy you’ll ever meet. He came to us from a terrible home. He was underweight, dehydrated, and had serious skin issues when he arrived. He’s now been vetted and is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm/lymes negative, flea treated, wormed, and microchipped. Luke is a wonderful, loving dog. He’s curious and loves to play. He seems to get along with other dogs but does need slow introductions. We don’t recommend a home with cats or small children. Luke will benefit from training. That is requirement of his adoption. Luke is an amazing dog and he will make a wonderful addition to a very lucky family. **Applications will not be processed if they do not meet adoption requirements.**Adoption processOur adoption process consists of an initial application for the animal of interest, followed by reference checks (both personal and with a veterinarian), a home visit, and finally if approved an adoption contract. All animals are required to be inside companion pets and the owner must maintain veterinary care throughout the life of the animal. Adoption fees are $150 for dogs, unless it is fostered through us for another rescue and $75 for cats. All animals are up to date with vaccinations and spayed/neutered before adoption.Shelter locationArrangements can be made to visit with any of our pets, but because we are foster based and do not have one facility, appointments must be made to do so.
