Mistletoe Dreamer is the sweetest dude you will ever meet! He looks into your soul with those big brown eyes of his with so much Love and appreciation. He makes you feel so love and appreciated and warm inside. He is dreaming of a couch to relax on and a loving family to call his own. One of the cutest things about Dreamer is his smile. He loves to show off his pretty pearly whites to everyones and he grins from ear to ear. It's so sweet and a little silly looking too so you'll for sure be smiling along with him. See his infectious smile here in his video: https://youtu.be/xKgWlkzCZu8?si=Xc_BTqr27-Bs4J_4 Mistletoe Dreamer is a Black lab pittie mix approximately 2 years old and currently weights 50 lbs and is full grown. He does have a goal weight and needs to gain about 10 lbs but this boy will be the perfect size. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Dreamer is dog friendly and did great with all of the dogs we introduced him to. He is not a super playful guy and is more on the reserved side at first when meeting new dogs. He wants to play just doesn't quite fully understand how to. He does best with dogs that are confident, will respect his space if he gets overwhelmed and are not too pushy. He would be best placed with another dog that will continue to teach him how great it is to be man's best friend, one that is moderately playful, and one that will continue to help him build his confidence. A dog's greatest teacher is another dog. He also would do great in a home as an only dog. He doesn't need the company of other dogs to feel comfortable with people and he would be perfectly happy being the little prince of your home. During did really well during the cat test too! He wasn't very interested in the cats and would simply walk away. We do not know he has ever lived with cats before nor can we guarantee that things won't change in the home. We do believe that with slow and proper introductions, he has the ability to co-exist in a home with cats. He crate trained and potty trained but may need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once in his forever home. Dreamer is treat motived too which will make any additional training that much easier. Dreamer's ideal home would have a backyard where he can explore, romp around and take in the fresh air with his semi active family. He is medium energy and will require some exercise but a simple walk in the park or even leisurely hike in the mountains will be enough for this sweetie. We are willing to test Dreamer Mistletoe with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. We can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $650 and includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
