Hi, I am Cas, They say good things come in small packages. That describes me pretty well. I am a confident, active, high-energy little guy.I love to play with other dogs once I have been introduced. I can be a bit nervous the first time we meet and in new situations but that just means I need a bit more exposure to new things.I play with children and adults too, I am a very sociable guy.I love balls the best and will chase them if you throw them. Cats are not my thing; I will chase them too. I love car rides especially when they end up at the beach. I won’t go into the water, but I love to run along the shore and dig in the sand. Today I spend most of my time outside so that is where I know how to do my business. You may need to spend a bit of time teaching me to ask when I need to go out of the house. But I am a smart boy so I will catch on quickly.I love to go for walks and runs but I haven’t gotten used to the leash yet. I just walk beside my foster and come back when they call me. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.Adoption processOur adoption process is on our website at: https://hope4lapawz.org/adoption-process/ Once approved, we establish transport for your dog and work out delivery which is usually to an airport near your city (unless you are here in La Paz). Adoption fees are $400 USD and transport fees are typically a flat $300 to any city that Alaska Airlines flies direct from San Diego. Adoptions for dogs to be living in Mexico are $1500 + Transport Fees. Dogs traveling outside of Mexico are certified and have all appropriate documentation, shots, tests, and exams. In addition to the rescuing and medical rehabilitation of these dogs, we have regular training classes for the dogs to encourage socialization as well as leash and crate training while they are in their foster homes awaiting adoption. Our adoption team supplies information, and tools, recommended training books. They also perform periodic adoption follow ups and assistance for adoptive families. We want each of our dogs to be set up for success in their new home. Our goal is to provide adopters with a complete package of rescue, care, and adoption support to promote a successful, happy life for you and your new dog.
