STEWIE: This a beautiful, sweet boy. He is playful, loves walks, rides well but would benefit from some basic obedience training. He is large and wants to jump up, so we recommend homes with kids 8+ yrs. Stewie tested negative for heartworms. He doesn't always do well with other males in the shelter but we see this often. He does play a little rough so if there is a canine companion, a female of similar energy level might work best.Adoption processWe require the adopter owns their property, has a secure fenced yard & a vet reference. Under special circumstances we may waive one thing or another within reason.Shelter locationWe meet people by appointment at our Headland Animal Shelter.
