Joey is an adorable male dog who was found as an underweight stray by the police. He is a little nervous, but you can win over his heart with treats! Per staff on 3/24: Joey was easy to take out of kennel and kept his head low while walking. He zig zagged on leash and was very hesitant to walk while outside. Once in the yard, he primarily sniffed and kept his head low, but would solicit attention from his handler by leaning on them and allowing all petting. He was very treat motivated and took them gently, but once he realized where the treats were kept, he would jump up towards the pouch. We redirected his attention by taking him out of the yard and on a walk. He walked much better heading back into the shelter.
