Dante is a young boy who happened upon some hard luck when he first arrived at the shelter. He was injured and was taken to PACC`s emergency vet partner before coming to the shelter where he got the care he needed. Dante spent quite a bit (too much really) of his young life in the shelter before being adopted. Sadly, after several months, Dante is back with us and we’re really hoping his stay at PACC will be a short one. Dante was housebroken and crate trained in his adoptive home and lived with other dogs. He’s a young, happy, high- energy kind of guy who has had a few different kennelmates during his time at the shelter and does well sharing his space. In his most recent playgroup evaluation, Dante was appropriate and tolerant with the other dogs, and mostly sought attention from the people in the yard.“Dante is a sweet little guy who is full of energy. He is playful and affectionate and a pleasure to spend time with. Dante is excited and jumpy in his kennel because he is anxious to go out but once he`s leashed up he is ready to explore! Dante really loves his people and he hates being alone in his boring kennel. He has had several kennelmates and has done well with them. Dante did well in a temporary foster home and he enjoys playing ball and snuggling with his volunteer friends when he goes for his walks. He is a bit strong on leash but listens well and wants to please. Dante has been through so much in his short life and has spent more time in a kennel than any young dog should. He`s a very overlooked guy that will make a fabulous best friend to an active person or family.”- PACC volunteer`Dante is super sweet and loves being around people. He likes other dogs and gives appropriate corrections. He`s a very good listener, and is great at taking goofy pictures!` – Former fosterDante is looking for an active home and will most likely do best in a household without cats.
