Hi everyone, my name is Reno, and I am about 5 years old, and 21 lbs. I am a very loving and playful dog, and my strong preference is for people! I am house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. I am a very special boy who is looking for a loving and patient owner. I have a lot of anxiety so I appreciate someone who will help me feel safe! I do not get along with other dogs or cats, and need to be in a home without children. I prefer a very calm household, so a home that is pretty chill will be my ideal! I'm a one person kind of guy so a single owner would work best for me, and preferably one who is retired or works from home, as I don’t like being by myself but I'm ok for a few hours when I'm in my crate.. I am at my happiest when I get to be with my person! My adoption fee is $325. NO OTHER PETS, NO SMALL CHILDREN, NEEDS ADOPTER HOME MOST OF THE TIME. ADOPTERS INTERESTED IN RENO MUST ATTEND SEVERAL TRAINING SESSIONS WITH HIM AT A TRAINING FACILITY NEAR MCKINNEY TX. Thank you for considering rescue! We appreciate your support. February 2, 2024, 1:46 pmAdoption processUpon approval of your adoption application, an Adoption Coordinator will contact you via email or telephone to match you/your family with one of our available Boston Terriers. Once a dog has been identified as a good match for the home, the foster home will contact you to schedule a time to meet the dog as well as conduct the home visit. If you pass the home visit and the meet and greet goes well (the dog is a good match for your home/family and any existing pets in the home) a 72-hour trial period will begin at that time. The foster will collect the signed adoption contract as well as the adoption fee prior to leaving. Once the 72-hour trial period has expired, the adoption will be finalized.Shelter locationAll of our Bostons are in foster homes. An application must be filled out and approved prior to meeting any of our dogs.
