Meet Baxter! He loves people and attention but is very dog selective. He will need to be the only pet in the home. He would make a great companion for someone that is looking for a walking buddy. We have noticed Baxter has some environmental allergies and does better when he is not in the grass run here at the shelter. It is recommended that his new family follows up with their vet to talk about allergy testing. He is a smart boy and knows ALL the tricks: Sit, shake, lay down, speak, "whisper", sit pretty, and working on roll over. Baxter is a smaller Lab mix and weighs in around 50 pounds. Baxter is potty trained and walks well on a leash. He will do best in a home with teens or adults only. He is a very sweet dog that can't wait for a family of his own, come meet Baxter today!Baxter's adoption fee is only $75.
