Chyna is a sweet little pit bull mix who loves people and to be showered with attention, but she is often wary of strange men. She is house and crate trained and is very good with some basic obedience skills and loves to "work". Chyna is high energy, very strong and athletic, and she needs an active person who will have patience with her and continue to work with and socialize her. She loves to play ball and play fetch, she might even make a good jogging partner. Chyna listens well, is food motivated and is very smart. Chyna does have resource guarding issues with toys so no small kids in the home. She also has some allergy issues and requires frequent baths and topical medications. If you find a furry friend you wish to adopt you will fill out an adoption application and then a home visit will be set up. At the time of adoption you will fill out an adoption contract and pay the adoption donation.Shelter locationSome of our pets live at our sanctuary in Shell Lake, WI, and others are fostered in homes in the Twin Cities, MN area. We do adoptions days at least once a month. We can make arrangements for you to meet any of our pets on an appointment basis.
