I am a 7-year-old beautiful fawn girl that is an owner surrender looking for her forever home after being saved from a shelter but my current owner is unable to care for me due to responsibilities of her own. When I was first saved from the shelter I was dirty, not in good shape, and very guarding of my food. I have since became healthier, am putting on healthy weight, and am getting better about feeding times and guarding my food. I am described as friendly, active, playful, and nervous. It is said I am dog friendly but unsure about cats or kids since I am not living with either one. In my past life I may not have been socialized well because even though I am said to get along with other dogs, I don’t fully understand how to play. Having a pup partner that is patient and could help me with that would be great! I am house trained and crate trained. At night I can be trusted and sleep on a dog bed in the human’s bedroom. When I must be left alone while the humans are away, I do okay as long as a radio or tv is left on to keep me company. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or jump fences/gates. I’m not a fan of my paws or feet being touched. Some of my favorite things are riding in cars, food, and trying different dog safe fruits or vegetables. I really like when the humans share with me!
