Angel is the name he came with and he certainly is sweet!!! He hasn’t grown into his paws or ears yet which also makes him adorable. This boy has ZEST for life!!! He needs an active lifestyle whether that’s another energetic puppy friend, a teenager who wants a friend or a family who loves the outdoors and taking their pup with them or all of the above!!! He’s very alert on walks! He watches everything from leaves and butterflies, to squirrels and cats, to people and cars. Pretty much if it moves, Angel is watching it!! He’s always looking for something that moves and he is always ready for a walk! While his vision is amazing, Angel’s hearing is another story. His right ear canal isn’t formed and his left ear only hears very loud sounds. He will tilt his head as if he can hear and understand you. The head tilt is super cute!!! Angel can entertain himself, but needs guidance or he may discover things you don’t want him to. He loves bones, balls, and to play fetch! He loves snuffle mats and other puzzle games. His favorite treat is kibble. This helps burn off some of that puppy energy too! He travels in cars well and loves going places and adventuring! He’s part Billy goat!! He can jump over smaller gates, not sure about taller ones yet. He will make an amazing hiking companion! He’s a bit of a Velcro dog and wants to be with you all the time and help you with everything, whether you need help or not! He just started basic training. He’s learning “come”, “sit” and “place”. Training him will take a little more time because of his age and hearing impairment, but he wants to please and watches for cues. Anticipating when he typically looks at you will be vital. Learning his behavior will help you communicate effectively with him. He loves to play with other dogs and people. He’s accepting of everyone, but slow introductions are a must since he still doesn’t understand his size and how to control himself. We have mixed information on whether he’s cat friendly, so we wouldn’t recommend a house with cats. He is an angel!
