Pointer Mix Dog for Adoption in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, 18901 USNickname: Della Posted Breed: Pointer / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $400. Della is the runt of a litter of six - but being the “smallest” doesn’t stop her in the least! A born explorer, when not napping, she's ready to go! We think she is a Pointer mix, so she will be a large dog. Despite her young age, she's already good at keeping her crate clean overnight, but will need patience and consistency to perfect her overall housebreaking skills. She's smart and has learned several basic commands including sit, go to bed, leave it, and quiet. She loves her crate, and will often grab a toy or bone and escape to her personal space! Born in Mississippi to a stray dog, she’s currently in foster care with two littermates in Collingswood, NJ, which is where meet & greets will take place prior to adoption. Della is spunky, loving, and cuddly, Like all puppies, she needs regular naps throughout the day, frequent potty breaks, 3 meals per day, and tons of love and handling. Her perfect family will spend daily time playing with Della, working on training, and getting her used to all sorts of new things (socialization). A fur-sib and/or human children would be nice, but not essential, as long as she gets plenty of daily exercise and attention. A fenced yard is required, and continued use of a crate until she is completely housebroken and trust-worthy is absolutely essential. Della had a recent health check-up and is up-to-date on core vaccinations. She is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and is microchipped.
