Huskies Mix Dog for Adoption in Palmer, Alaska, 99654 USNickname: DIESEL Posted Breed: Husky / Mixed (medium coat). Diesel is a young pup who is desperately hoping to find a home before his first birthday! Diesel is so sweet and will stop what heâs doing if that means getting some belly rubs. Diesel is a people pleaser and just wants to spend time with his people. In his previous home he was both an indoor and outdoor dog. He thrives with enrichment and regular exercise / playtime. Unfortunately, not having a positive outlet for his energy has made Diesel a little anxious in the shelter. Diesel loves to play with other dogs, but can be a rambunctious player! He has done great in dog playgroups in the shelter, but will thrive best with a tolerable friend that matches his energy. Diesel may come off a little strong when first meeting and be mouthy. He is redirected easily and will always take a toy when offered! Diesel absolutely loves meeting new people. Diesel does require some additional training, but he is off to a great start. He is potty trained, but please keep in mind that he has spent lots of time in the shelter and will need time to adapt to his new home! Diesel was not destructive towards household items and he knows the cues âsitâ, âdownâ, âshakeâ and âdrop itâ. Diesel has lived with children in his previous home and was said to do great with them! Diesel could be a great family dog for an active home. He has so much love to give and just wants to be loved back!
