Hello, I'm Mercy May, named for the mercy that saved me from parvo. After a brave fight, I'm now ready for my own fairy-tale ending. As the runt of the litter, I'm a gentle 30-pound, 11-month-old lab mix, house and crate trained, and fond of both kids and other dogs. Cuddling is my specialty, especially when accompanied by cocoa and a cozy movie night. Free starter training session with Rescue Wagon Training Academy with adoption..Adoption processWe are extremely thorough with our adoption process. Our goal is to find the best fit for our dogs. We reserve the right to deny anyone a dog if we feel the applicant is not qualified or is not a good fit for the dog at our discretion. We require two personal references that we call to check character and get a recommendation on why or why not the applicant is a good candidate. Also, we call the vet reference to be sure the applicants current dog is current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. The home check is mandatory to be sure the applicant lives where they say they live and the pet will live in a safe environment.Shelter locationSadly we have no adoption events scheduled at this time
