Andrew is a sweet, gentle, and loyal Australian Cattle Dog Mix. The vet thinks he is 2-3 years old. He is neutered and heartworm and is going through heartworm treatment. Andrew was picked up in an area known for its stray animals, but these days, he spends his time sleeping and playing with our cats. He is house trained and well behaved. He gets along with other dogs and cats with proper introductions. He will voice his displeasure when separated from his human. He loves companionship and would do well with someone who is active and willing to take the time to exercise and comfort him. Being in his vicinity is more than enough to please him. He is a cuddle bug who does well with cats, dogs and children. He knows basic commands like come, sit, and paw. He does well on a leash and does not pull. He does not do well when crated, but definitely has the potential to be kennel trained. We are working on kennel training and teaching Andrew a few more basic commands. Andrew has warmed up quickly to the indoor lifestyle and is looking for his forever home. You will not be disappointed by this sweet pup! September 10, 2023, 1:19 pm
