Eligible for $100 Reduction in Adoption Fee! Carly came to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue worried... A good Samaritan found her with a huge logging chain attached to her collar that probably weighed as much as she did. Despite her past, Carly has turned into a rescue favorite! She is happy, loving, has a great personality, knows basic obedience, and is housebroken. She lights up when any human pays her attention! She really needs a family of her own to love her. We think Carly is about 3 years old and weighs around 35 pounds. She appears to be some sort of small terrier mixed with a larger breed, but that is just a guess. Carly did test positive for heartworm, but treatment is underway and easy to continue. Heartworm disease is NOT contagious. GOFAR will pay for treatment until Carly tests negative. Her adoption fee is $300, but her approved adopter will currently get a $100 reduction in fee thanks to the 2023 Kia Pet Adoption Grant!
