Hello my name is Blue and I'm a big hound dog with a big heart to match. I love to play as much as I love to lounge around and relax. I'm a good listener (most of the time) and I'm learning a lot of new commands and picking them up quick. I can wait at the door if you ask me to before I go out, and I know sit, both paws, and lay when you give me a treat. And if you tell me to wait and hide treats around the house I love to hunt for them. I'd be best in a home with a fenced in yard so I can get all of my energy out before I lay around for the rest of evening. I love my owners with all my heart but I'm not so good with visitors yet, so a low traffic house would be best for me. I’m rather fearful and I need a home with people that have the time and patience to show me that people are ok to be around, because I didn't have any social exposure as a puppy, but I'm willing to try if you are!
