Akira is the most precious girl with an awesome personality. She is about 3 years old and good with other dogs and with kids, but would prefer a home without cats. She loves people and has been in the shelter or boarding most of her life. Yes, she has been let down by humans; let's not make that her legacy! She is oh-so-sweet with tons of young adult/older puppy energy. Akira likes other dogs, loves to play, and needs a pack leader to teach her the basics of life in a human pack. She is house trained, healthy, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines!February 9, 2024, 2:03 amAdoption processAll of our animals come fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered (if old enough), and microchipped. Puppies and kittens will be spayed/neutered and have all shots when they are old enough. There is an Adoption application, a quick phone interview to make sure it is a good fit, a meet and greet with the dog, then a home check, and an adoption contract. We ask for a $400 donation for adult dogs, and $500 for puppies at the time of adoption so that we can save other dogs from the shelter.
