Description:

Great Pyrenees Dog for Adoption in Spring, Texas, 98503 USNickname: Frosty Bear Posted Breed: Great Pyrenees / Akbash (long coat). Adoption Fee: $300. Hiya folks, my name is Frosty Bear! People also call me Barry, but I prefer it when they call me “you wanna snack?”. I am a handsome Great Pyrenees/Akbash mix born around June of 2022. Some of my more unique features are my dandy long legs, great for long, lazy stretches when getting up off the couch….and my ears are super soft, like buttery velvet. I love it when my ears attract scratches. My funniest quirk is my need to stop and appreciate the love and attention that everyone seems to want to give me. I like to lean up against the nearest human and wait for some scratches and hugs….just because! I really like toys, and my favorite place to be is in the backyard playing with the other dog that lives here. I walk well on the leash and stay right next to the person walking me. I like the car just fine. For me it’s just as much about the journey as it is the destination. I don’t have a favorite thing to eat, ‘cause I just like to eat! In fact, I’ve never met a treat or a meal that I didn’t like….it’s all delicious! They keep saying I’m very food motivated, but I’m not really sure what that means….? Although I love food and am tall enough to take whatever I want right off the counter, I’m a good boy and I always resist and take snacks like a gentle giant should. I’m not sure how to feel about cats, ‘cause they are strange little creatures and I just don’t think they’re my cup of tea. I would do better in a house that does not have any cats, because it’s just too hard to resist chasing them! I’m not a huge fan of my crate at the moment, but perhaps in the future, with some training, it will feel like a safe place to hang out. But at night, I sleep in my own room, and if I get tired before the rest of the house is ready for bed, I go in on my own to lay down. I’m a very good boy when in my room and I understand that I can only chew on the few toys that live in there. Overall, I am a playful, gentle guy who would love to be your faithful sidekick! If you think your family is next in my journey, please apply to adopt me today!
