While he is very much a cuddle bug, he also loves to play! The perfect home for Wylie would be with a family who was ready to entertain him with an array of toys but also decompress with him on the couch while he enjoys his favorite treat of soup bones. While he is on the low/medium energy side, he is very social and loves the companionship of kids and other pups. He typically ignores cats. A smaller home or an apartment could work as he is so chill and rarely barks. Fully house trained, Wylie also walks very well on a leash. Eager to meet every other dog he sees, he might pull but takes corrections well. He goes into his crate willingly, especially when treats are involved, settles quickly and does not bark. Wylie does need to be fed separately from other dogs. He does not have issues with people around his food; it is just with other dogs. He is also prone to counter surfing. Because he loves his toys so much, he will sometimes resource guard with new toys; however, with some correction, he shares well. Wylie should also be watched in yards as he has some history escaping kennels. Loving and beautiful, Wylie cannot wait to meet his forever family!
