Gonzo is a handsome young guy who was found as a stray. He stayed with his finder for a couple of days before heading to PACC and was friendly with the whole family, including the kiddos. Here’s what some of Gonzo’s shelter friends had to say:“I’m really fond of this big guy. He’s a handsome boy, easy to leash up, easy to walk and he enjoys playing in the agility yard. Gonzo has so much to offer some lucky adopter!”“Gonzo was moved to a section of the shelter where I walked many of the pups, so he became part of my rotation. When it’s time for his walk, he is calm and easy to leash. Out we go! He is a very calm, easy pup when he is out of the kennel. He’s a gentle, affectionate pup. This gorgeous boy is a joy to be with. Highly recommend him.”“Gonzo was absolutely terrific on our walk this morning! Gonzo sat for a treat and was easy to leash. He was eager to walk but well behaved. Gonzo and I practiced `wait at the gate` on exit and return, and he was great at it. While in the park, Gonzo walked on a loose leash the whole time. We stopped at a ramada where he enjoyed being petted and took treats gently.”“Gonzo did well on our morning walk yesterday. On our walk through the park, he maintained a loose leash walk 80% of the time. He made good eye contact with me, had loose body language, and gave me a smile when we stopped for treats, taking them gently from my hand. He was comfortable with my petting him.”“Gonzo kept four feet on the floor and was easy to leash. Once we got out into the desert Gonzo walked really well, almost loose leash. He did his business and set the pace as a quick walk. He noticed a lizard run across the path in front of us and was definitely very interested in chasing it. When we returned to the shelter, Gonzo entered his kennel easily with the help of some treats. He`s a very active, energetic dog who will do well with an active owner.”Gonzo would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit or would be more than happy to be your one and only- more attention for him that way!!
