“Hiya, I’m Shortny! My rugged good looks are sure to catch your eye and, once you get to know me, my goofy antics are sure to put a smile on your face. I was brought the shelter after getting very sick. My friends there said it was something called ‘parvo’ and nursed me back to health. I’m all better now and met a lot of two- and four-legged friends once I got the doc’s approval!After more than a couple months at the shelter, I was still having trouble finding my new fam so I went home with a foster volunteer. This way, I can show everyone all the great things about me! I have lots of four-legged friends here, including a few funny looking ones that my foster mom calls cats. I showed them that I’m good with my house-training AND in the kennel. I also LOVE FOOD so I’m ready to learn lots more.Don’t let my name fool ya, I’m a lanky 40lb-er and can keep up with just about anybody. I’d be a great friend to another playful pup or an ideal running buddy. All I really need is a person to call my very own. Think that might be you?
