MEET PENNY Penny is a 2 year old shepherd mix rescued near the Semiahmoo resort near Bellingham WA. Penny, her brand new litter of 11 puppies, along with her older two sons Nickel and Dime were rescued and brought into the care of Happy Tails fosters around the end of April. She is about 60 pounds and loves belly rubs and cuddles.She is a very sweet girl who enjoys being with people. She gets along well with other dogs but has a pretty strong prey drive so cats may not be the best for her to live with. Penny has been an off leash roam around free dog for all of her life but is smart and eager to learn and please. She is house trained, a great companion on walks and car rides or enjoys lounging around with a good bone to chew on.If you are interested in providing a forever home for this sweet girl, please fill out an application at happytailshappyhomes.org.
