My name is Leni and true to my name’s meaning, I LIGHT up my foster family's life with my love and happiness! I’m a 44 pound female Australian Shepard mix who is about 1 year and 2 months old. I am as sweet as they come and a loyal girl as soon as I know you’re a friend who will give me yummy treats (bonus points if they are meaty), rub my ears, and toss the ball for me. My foster mom absolutely adores me and says I’m a great listener & companion - I love to snooze by her feet while she works (sometimes I even make cute snores) and will happily go for a stroll in the neighborhood. I never pull on my leash and am very gentle mannered. I’m crate trained and sleep soundly all night, but when my family is home, I want to be by your side. I’m a respectful lady in the house and have pretty outstanding manners! Potty training is going well, as long as I stick to a schedule and can have a safe spot in my yard! I’m good with other dogs, cats, and kids! Though, I can be shy at first, especially with men. My dream family would be one with patience and will let me go at my own pace.
