Beagle Mix Dog for Adoption in Batavia, Ohio, 45245 USNickname: Logan Posted Breed: Beagle / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 250.. LOGAN is simply one of the sweetest good boys you'll ever meet. He's a mixed breed guy, probably some type of beagle mix. Logan is about 2 years old and fully grown at 32 pounds but he's a little too skinny and needs to add 2-3 pounds. Logan loves every dog he meets, ignores cats and has an absolutely wonderful disposition. He's a bit timid when meeting new people but if you have a treat he will sit pretty and beg and become your friend. Logan landed in a rural shelter after suffering neglect and covered in fleas. The fleas are gone and his skin is healing up but he still has a few pink spots which will be fully healed soon. Logan needs a home with another friendly, playful doggie companion and a physically-fenced yard. He is housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet Logan, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Logan at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate if he's still available. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
