Meet Curry! Curry is one of our Special Care dogs, who will need an extra special home. Curry is an anxious pup, who is in need of her own emotional support dog, to be her best friend. She is currently in a foster home, and best friends with a 70lb dog, who has really helped her open up, and learn the world isn't so scary. Also helping her is a long-term medication called Fluoxetine, which she will benefit from taking long-term. Curry has been through alot in her short life including a cross country move, fatal housefire, and a few different foster homes. Despite all that, Curry is a fun little dog (perfect size of 25lbs), who is food motivated (loves ham), but can be a picky eater when it comes to eating non-human food. Her foster mom calls her "Little Mommy" which is usually heard as edamame, and says Curry is a mix of party animal and princess, who may "be allergic to sleeping on any hard surfaces." Curry is working on her housetraining and has been most successful when kept on a schedule. Curry is still a bit nervous walking outside, so a home in a quieter neighborhood is recommended. This pup has won the hearts of many people, and we are looking to finding her a patient, and loving forever home that will offer some much-needed stability and a place to grow up.
