Pippa is a beautiful girl, and slightly bolder than her sister Posy. She is still working on her confidence when outside of the yard. She’s not sure about walks, yet, but she gets better every time! She has access to the yard, but rarely gets to be walked out in the field, so it will take her a few times to get used to it. Pippa has the sweetest smile and she’s curious about her surroundings. She is a calm and sweet girl who loves laying in the sun and sniffing the air. Pippa is good with other dogs and loves having puppy parties with her siblings and friends. Pippa would love a home where she’s got a dog friend to show her how to be a dog outside of the shelter. Pippa is Negative for heart worms!!Pippa and Posy are nearly identical. Pippa’s entire face is black while Posy has a light patch on top of her nose. Pippa’s white stripe starts at a point inter her chin and spreads evenly down her chest to her front legs.The first step in our adoption process is an application. Once that is received, we will contact you to make an appointment to meet the animal. Adoption Applications can be completed at www.WFAHS.orgAdoption processDogs- $140Cats- $100 Potential Adopters should first fill out the adoption application below! Upon adoption, adopter must agree to a contract which states they will have the animal licensed and vaccinated yearly. All pets will be spayed/neutered and microchipped before adoption. The adopter has 10 days to return the pet for a refund. *Safe Haven Dogs* “Safe Haven” classification refers to the dogs in our shelter that are of certain breeds and mixes such as American Pit bull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, Chow, Dogo Argentino, Rottweiler or Mastiff. We do not limit Safe Haven dogs to just these breeds, but these are some of the most common breeds we see.In order to ensure the safety of our animals, we require a more extensive adoption process for this group. Some of these breeds are at risk of being used as fighting dog or bait dogs. Sometimes people adopt these breeds for unethical reasons, and not as a family member.
