Nico is an energetic, almost 2 yr old (as of Dec '23), young shepherd mix looking for a loving home. He's a perfect, medium size at 50 lbs and such a handsome boy! He's a great alert dog and will let you know when someone or something is near. His previous owner was not able to be very attentive, so he was often left to his own devices when he was young, which means he will need patience as he continues to learn manners. Having said that, he already comes when you call, will sit (ideally with a treat but will do without) and knows down and "off" very well. He's a pretty calm leash walker and will stop, sit and wait when asked. He's very eager to please, likes pets and is food motivated so his ongoing training should be a piece of cake. He may be on the smaller size but he has a big jump - can easily get up on platforms and climb some walls so attention to him when outside is a must. His size makes him the perfect couch dog when you're both ready to rest and cuddle after a walk. He'll make a fabulous new addition to your family. Fill out an app and come meet Nico soon!
