Thank you! Rescue Emergency Alert Two boxer puppies in critical condition. We need your help! We’ve been blindsided by an unexpected and urgent need for immediate action and support. CHBR was contacted by a breeder, from whom we've previously taken six dogs. This time, he was at his breaking point with a litter and asked us to take them off his hands, ASAP! We had no idea the pups were sick. Tragically, out of nine puppies, only two survived (one male, one female) before he gave them to us. As soon as our volunteer laid eyes on them, she knew something wasn’t right. She rushed them to the closest emergency veterinary facility for testing and, as we suspected, the test confirmed they are afflicted with Parvo, a life-threatening illness. The reality is stark: their treatment requires around the clock intensive care amounting to thousands of dollars per day. With that, we still don’t even know if they will survive, but we will not give up. As a small rescue, this has hit us hard, both emotionally and financially. Our resources are limited and our funds are dwindling rapidly. Look at these little faces! They have only begun their journey in life, are fighting the good fight, but they can't do it alone. They need us, and we need you! Even the smallest donation can help us cover the costs of their medical bills and ensure they receive the best lifesaving care!
