DOB: 11/1/2023 Current Weight(as of 2/6/24): 18 Lbs Adoption Fee: $350 includes 1 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness. Pongo was surrendered at a vet clinic and was supposedly purchased from a pet store. We are glad he landed with Furry Kids' so that we can find the best home for him! Pongo loves, loves, loves to play, typical puppy energy. He needs a lot of structure and will benefit from obedience training. He is still learning manners. He is almost housebroken, but still has some accidents. Goes into his kennel easily. Pongo needs an active person or another active dog as well as a standard fenced yard. Please no apartments. Pongo is a Dalmatian, Please read about the breed first before considering. Dalmatians are the only breed that can form Uric acid crystals. Our veterinarian spoke with a nutritionist and they recommended that Pongo eat SD Derm Complete puppy food until he reaches adult age and then transfer him to Royal Canin Dalmatian specific food, their food needs to be low purine. This will give him the best chance at not forming Uric crystals or bladder stones in the future. Pongo hears very well. Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption. All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations.
