English Shepherd-Labrador Retriever Mix Dog for Adoption in Palmer, Alaska, 99654 USNickname: DIESEL Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / English Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat). Diesel is a young pup who just wishes to play, make friends and cuddle! Diesel was surrendered because he was too much energy for the senior dog in his previous home. Diesel enjoys playing with other dogs and would enjoy a tolerable friend that matches his energy! We can always accommodate a dog meet and greet to ensure that heâs found his match. He also is said to enjoy playing with cats, but we do suspect he may be too rambunctious for some kitties. Diesel does require some additional training, but he is on the right track! He is potty trained, but if left alone for too long he will have an accident in the home. He is also crate trained - his owner mentioned that he spent a lot of time crated due to the senior dog, but was not destructive towards household items as long as he had plenty of toys to play with. Additionally, he knows many cues including âsitâ, âstayâ, âdownâ, âcomeâ and âleave itâ. Diesel is great at making friends and loves people. He did well with the children in his previous home, but may be too much energy for some small children because he does love to play! He is an active boy who will thrive best with regular exercise. His favorite toys to play with are ropes, stuffies and rubber chew toys! Doesnât he sound like such a good boy?! Diesel could make a great addition to most homes and we would love for you to come by and meet him!
