Dachshund Mix Dog for Adoption in Batavia, Ohio, 45245 USNickname: Curt Posted Breed: Dachshund / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 300.. CURT is 15 pounds of chocolatey sweetness. He's a 1 year old mixed breed boy looking for a home. He appears to be a dachshund mix, but we have no clue how many breeds may be in the mix part. He's a friendly little guy, fine with other dogs and uninterested in kitties as long as he has a doggie playmate. He has the sassy confidence of a doxie and is happy to make friends with anyone holding a treat. His coat is a stunning blend of every chocolatey shade -- from white chocolate to milk chocolate to mocha to deep dark chocolate. Curt is housebroken and crate trained and good with kids. He's best suited to a home where he will have a doggie playmate. If you'd like to meet Curt, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhousrescue. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Curt at our weekly adoption event Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate if he's still available. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
