Meet Charlie, the fun-loving Cardigan pup who's nearly 5 years old (with a birthday on May 25th)! Charlie is a playful guy who thrives in an active home where he can go on walks, play fetch, and enjoy plenty of playtime. It's important that his new family has someone home often who is willing to take him on walks or engage in playtime with him. Charlie is a social butterfly who gets along well with other dogs and is submissive. Another playful dog in his new home would be a bonus! He loves showing off his toy collection, especially his squeaky toys and tennis balls. You'll rarely see him without a toy, or two, in his mouth! This smart pup knows many tricks and is always eager to learn more. While he sleeps in his crate at night and signals when he needs to go potty in the morning, he prefers not to spend too much time in his crate during the day. He's also not a fan of car rides, but he'll tolerate them for the right adventure. Charlie's previous owner mentioned that he's great with kids and cats if they let him, although he hasn't been tested with them in his foster home. Charlie is still learning the command "off."
