Say hello to Cooper! He is a 3 year old Pit Bull mix that weighs 68 pounds. Cooper is a playful and affectionate pup who loves going on adventures and running around outside. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and loves spending time with you. He is eager to learn new tricks and will gladly learn anything in exchange for some tasty treats! He is selective with his canine friends, so he may prefer to be the only dog in his new home. Due to his initial sensitivity, if there are children in his forever home they need to be ages 13 and older. If Cooper sounds like the pup for you, give us a call at 330-487-XXXX ext 226 to learn more about him and schedule a time to coe in and meet!Adoption processAll of our adoptable animals are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, de-flea and microchipped before adoptions are finalized. All dogs over six months of age receive a temperament assessment by our Certified Professional Dog Trainer to ensure appropriate placement. Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability. We are currently doing adoptions by appointment only. Adoption Fees:Dogs6 months or under: $1756 months to 5 years: $1256 years or older (or special needs): $50 Cats6 months or under: $75 (or two kittens for $100)6 months to 5 years: $506 years or older (or special needs): $20 Senior to Senior Program: For adopters age 60 or older, adoption fees are reduced to $15 if the animal is 3 years or older. This service is made possible through the Pets for the Elderly Foundation. You will be asked to provide proof of age.
