Shadow is a big sweet baked puptato who would love to find a home today! She lived in one home her entire life before coming to the shelter, where she was housebroken and used a doggy door and had a big comfy chair that she loved to sleep in. Shadow has been gentle, calm, and sweet since arriving at the shelter, instantly winning over everyone she meets. Here’s what some of her friends had to say:“Shadow was a VGG (very good girl) on our outing yesterday. We took her and her kennelmate to a yard and she walked well, then explored a bit, enjoyed some pettings, and took some treats. Got along well with her roomie and despite the heat and her being a bit overweight, she had some pep in her step. Sweet girl.”“I love this sweet big lady. I’ve been taking her to small playgroups with a few other dogs and she mostly keeps to herself, but is polite and well- adjusted. We got caught in a yard during a sudden hail storm, and Shadow and two other dogs and myself hunkered down together. Shadow nuzzled her snoot into me and waited out the storm. She is just so sweet!”Shadow was a bit nervous but tolerant when meeting other dogs in her initial playgroup evaluation. She’s really come around since then and has done well and been relaxed in smaller play groups and with several different roommates. She’s looking for a home without small dogs. Please ask to meet this portly princess today!!
