When life gets hard, you’ve gotta have Faith! And our Faith sure knows about both tough times and keeping a positive attitude. Faith came to PACC back in 2019 with a very bad wound on her back from an allergic reaction to a topical flea medication. Though she was in obvious discomfort, Faith’s happy, sweet personality never faltered. Faith spent time in a foster home, and ultimately was adopted, but has found her way back to PACC after three years in a home.Faith was housebroken in her former home and loved to sleep on the bed next to her person at night, hogging the pillow. Her person described her as a loving sweetheart who just wants to cuddle with her trusted people. Faith can be a bit shy with new people, but given a bit of time to warm up, she has a huge heart and so much love to offer!! Here’s what one of her shelter friends said about her:“Faith was shy in kennel but confident enough to approach the door when I knelt down to greet her. She took treats from me and was accepting of me leashing her. Very easy kennel exit and she went potty as soon as we got outside. Easy walker and great companion for someone lucky. She is a pittie potato!!!! She was uninterested in other dogs that we passed on our walk and kept to herself like a good girl. She did lots of sniffing, showed me her perfect sit, and took treats nicely from my hand. We sat down in the grass for a little bit and she immediately rolled on to her back for belly rubs, and then did lots of scooting to scratch her back - very adorable and so silly! Return to kennel was easy, she`s a great dog.”Though Faith still has the scars from all those years ago when she first came to the shelter, she also still has the beautiful, loving personality that we all remember. Faith has lived with other dogs in both a prior foster home and her adoptive home, and has shared her kennel while in the shelter. Faith was a bit nervous and kept to herself when meeting other dogs in playgroup, and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask about Faith today!!
