Emilio is a handsome young labby guy who came to the shelter as a stray. He was very timid at that time and would not walk on leash. Since then, though, he’s gained so much confidence and he not only happily walks on leash, he is always excited to get out of his kennel. Here’s what one volunteer had to say about him:“I have only taken Emilio out twice but I have already seen improvement in his confidence and he seems to enjoy walking. He walks very nicely and calmly. We stop frequently for me to talk to him and do some gentle touch. Last time I had him out we went to a yard and he approached me and allowed more pets. Back at his kennel he unleashes and takes treats nicely. Emilio is just a really sweet guy.”Emilio would love to find a home where he can keep working on his confidence as part of a loving family. He has shared his kennel politely and was easygoing and independent when meeting other dogs playgroup. Ask to meet Emilio today!
