At moment in her backyard -patio in her foster facility Temperament/Personality: PIÑA (meaning Pineapple) she is the sweetest dog ever. Her true character and nature helped her endure some medical procedures that not many dogs may be able to surpass. This sweet girl had her back leg amputated. She is a very trusting and loving dog and definitely has the German shepherd intuition. What does the dog's ideal home look like? She will make a great addition to a family with other dogs or kids. Or with a dog lover that would like to give a “tripod “a chance to prove and show the world that any obstacles can be surpassed in life. What is the dog's rescue story? Pina was taken by her owner to a Veterinarian clinic to put down to sleep as Piña presented a tumor on her back leg and the family couldn't afford her care. The veterinarian would not euthanize her and he decided to take Piña under their care and give Piña a chance. Piña endured several Chemotherapy treatments which were very costly in Mexico. The tumor seemed to come back so it was decided that the best plan was to remove her limb and secure her heath. She has been living in the clinic for over 1 year in the hope to find her much deserved forever home. A rescue partner knew about her case and has taken her out of the vet office and she has been living a great life in a foster home but is ready to find her forever home in WA.
