Nikola is a happy 2-year-old chocolate girl who is always so excited to see you! Most of the time her big tail is wagging so fast you can hardly see it. This driven girl will follow you anywhere and everywhere to get a good piece of treat! Once she knows you have some she is all focus and will quickly sit for more. She loves to play around and jump through the grass while out on walks. Nikola recently went on a Dog Day Out! Here's what our volunteer had to say: Nikola is a girl that loves to get his energy out before settling down to play with her toys and get some snuggles. Then we went on a drive (she was very good in the car), and got a pup cup. We went to see my parents, took another short walk and got some ice cream! She slept with her head on my lap the whole ride back to the shelter. She did well on a leash after we tired her out. She's just so so sweet.Nikola is spayed, fully vaccinated and ready to go home with you today! Come meet this silly ball of energy at the KC Pet Project Main Campus!My ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possilbe. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, who are deteriorating in the shelter environment or who have more restrictions on homes they can go to find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
