Animal Profile: Paso Doble is an estimated 3-year-old 52lb Labrador Retriever who was found as a stray and at risk for euthanasia due to limited space at Fresno Humane after being picked up as a stray in April and having no adoption interest for several months. He has been friendly with other dogs in playgroups, and during a short time in foster care he was said to be good with kids! We will share more as we get to know him in foster care. Seattle Foster Update: Paso’s foster reports he is doing great. He is a super friendly, goofy and active pup. He is very affectionate, gentle and he loves to cuddle. Paso is food motivated so additional training should come easily but he’s already got some of the basics down. He is a happy boy on walks and does pretty well on leash. Paso will give a little whine when crating up, but settles in quickly. He is a great companion in the car and would be a good adventure buddy. Paso has a chihuahua as a foster brother and he loves to play with him.. and is very gentle and respectful of their size difference. We will continue to post updates as we learn more about him! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.
