Kevin is looking for a companion who has experience with Great Pyrenees or experience with large breed reactive dogs. Kevin is just under a year and has had a rough start in life. He is under socialized and needs help learning to trust humans. He is reactive on leash to other people and dogs and will need somebody with patience who is willing to help him learn that the world is not that scary. Kevin needs a quiet home that will allow him to do things on his own terms and time. Kevin would benefit from having another confident dog in the home to help him feel safe and secure. He would do best in a home with no kids, small dogs or small animals, like cats and chickens. Room to roam would also help him adjust to his new family and help him feel safe. We understand that a dog like Kevin is not for everyone, but if you have patience and some experience working with traumatized dogs, helping him learn to trust and become more confident can be a very rewarding experience.
