Hello! My name is Meadow and I was rescued by a compassionate human when she noticed me hanging around a gas station on the Navajo Reservation. I was very pregnant and a few days after she saved me I delivered 9 healthy puppies! We have been so well care for by my foster mom and now that the puppies are ready to be adopted, I am ready to begin looking for my very own family. I live with several other adult dogs and I quickly made friends with all 5 dogs - even with my puppies in tow. (I am a very friendly and submissive girl.) My family has big dogs and little dogs and I think they are all wonderful!. My foster dad raves about my loving termperament and and says I'm going to be so easy to adopt. I bond very quickly with my people and work hard to earn "atta girls". I thirive on positive affirmation! My house manners are very good and I have free roam of the house with the other dogs during the day and at night too. My preferred sleeping location is my mom and dad's bedroom on a dog bed or a crate is fine too. I have not had an accident in my foster home so I'm already house trained. I like leash walks and although I had never been on a leash before my foster dad says I am great on leash. I don't pull unless I see a squirrel on the trail. If my parents leave for a couple of hours I stay in my comfy crate. At first I whined for a few minutes but now I know it's all going ot be just fine. My foster family is not certain of my breed but I appear to have some Australian Shepherd (I have one blue eye and one green eye) and perhaps I am part American Staffordshire / Pit Bull / Husky and many other other breeds too! I currently weigh around 45 lbs and am approximately 2 years of age.
