Lucy came into our Sanctuary when her human died. She is a very loving dog to any and all 2-leggeds and like other big dogs here, but does not do as well with the pack of smaller dogs...they tend to make her nervous. She loves to help me with all the chores but her most important job is walking with me to get the mail and picking raspberries along the way. She is 13 years old, but in very good health expect for a few lumps and bumps. Lucy's ideal home would be with an older gentleman who likes to putter around. She has a perfect recall ( she is whistle trained) very polite in the house, crate trained and housebroken. She has been here almost a year but i can tell that she would like to bond with a new family. She would also be great with another big dog her size...the little ankle bitters make her a bit nervous. She loves the pond and keeping us free of ducks and Herons. Lucy also LOVES car rides~ Lucy likes me alright, but when a gentleman comes around, she obviously flirts with him.
