Wesson is an adorable terrier mix who is approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 19 pounds. He came to our rescue from a pretty stressful environment where there were 70 dogs all living in a small home together. Despite coming from this overcrowded environment, Wesson is a very sweet little dog who is learning what it’s like to get lots of love and affection. Wesson is a happy little boy, and every day his personality is coming out more and more. Coming from the home he was in, he was not handled very much, so he is still learning that one on one attention is a pretty wonderful thing. Once he settles in and learns to trust, he is just a sweet and loving boy who enjoys attention. He can be little bossy and picky about his dog friends, so a larger dog would be a better companion for him, and he sure wouldn't mind be an only dog and getting all the attention! He loves to play with his toys and is crate trained for his meals and sleeping. Wesson also tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. As far as know, we are the only rescue group that tests and treats Chagas disease using Dr. Madigan's protocol!
